*Esbats correlate personal goals to the phases of the moon
~Rituals have a strong personal focus
-New moon = New beginnings; Waxing moon = The process; Full Moon = The pinnacle; Waning moon = The finishing touches
*Sabbats recognize & celebrate the current state of nature
~Rituals have an environmentally-conscious focus
Beltane ~ faeries
Samain ~ deceased, spirits
Ostara ~ new beginnings
Mabon ~ reaping what you’ve sewn
Imbolc ~ starting afire (dawn)
Lammas ~ burning out (dusk)
Yule ~ Moon
Litha ~ Sun
